The Overview

Traffic Was Being Generated. Revenue Was Not Following.

BloomStyle - a D2C fashion brand selling ethnic wear and fusion clothing across India - had built a meaningful organic social presence and was generating 12,400 monthly website sessions from a combination of paid and organic traffic. The problem was that only 0.7% of those sessions were converting into purchases.

The product was genuinely good. The photography was professional. The pricing was competitive. The bottleneck was entirely in the commerce experience - a checkout that asked too much, a mobile experience that was too slow, and a search visibility that was leaving high-intent buyers in a competitor's store.

A 10-week programme was designed to address all three simultaneously - a headless Shopify rebuild, a checkout redesign, a mobile-first product page architecture, and a technical SEO programme that deployed product schema across the entire catalogue.

The Obstacles

What Was Holding the Revenue Back

Four specific, diagnosable problems were identified in the first two weeks of the audit - each costing the brand a measurable proportion of its potential revenue.

9-Step Checkout Killing Conversions

The checkout flow required 9 separate steps - account creation, address, shipping, payment, confirmation, and three upsell screens - before an order was placed. 68% of shoppers were leaving at step 4.

Mobile Experience Was Non-Existent

74% of traffic was on mobile devices. The site had been designed for desktop and compressed to mobile. Tap targets were too small, images were not optimised, and the product gallery required pinch-to-zoom.

Zero Organic Search Visibility

Product pages had auto-generated title tags, no meta descriptions, no structured data, and duplicate content across colour variants. The store was ranking on page 4–8 for every primary product keyword.

No Trust Signals at the Point of Purchase

The product page had no reviews, no shipping estimates, no returns policy, and no secure payment badges. High-intent shoppers were arriving and leaving because no signal confirmed the purchase was safe.

Execution Path

What Was Fixed, Week by Week.

A four-phase 10-week programme was executed - audit first, design second, build third, and growth infrastructure fourth. Nothing was built until the audit confirmed what was worth building.

Week 1–2

Commerce Audit & Revenue Mapping

Every page, every funnel, and every drop-off point was audited. Cart abandonment was traced to a 9-step checkout. Mobile bounce rate of 74% was identified as the primary revenue leak.

Week 3–4

Conversion-First Design System

A new product page architecture was designed - trust signals above the fold, a single-step add-to-cart interaction, and a visual hierarchy that guided the eye from product image to buy button in under 3 seconds.

Week 5–7

Platform Rebuild & Checkout Redesign

The store was migrated to a headless Shopify architecture. The 9-step checkout was collapsed to 3 steps. One-tap payment options - UPI, Razorpay, and Google Pay - were integrated at the first visible screen.

Week 8–10

SEO, Speed & Analytics Launch

Product schema, collection schema, and breadcrumb markup were deployed. Core Web Vitals moved from a failing 34 to a passing 91. GA4 e-commerce tracking was rebuilt from scratch - revenue attribution by source, campaign, and product.

"We were spending ₹4 lakhs a month on ads and converting less than 1% of the traffic it was bringing in. Caseyug fixed the checkout and the mobile experience in seven weeks. Our revenue went from ₹63 lakhs to ₹2.4 crores a month without increasing the ad budget. The checkout was the product. We just hadn't seen it that way."
